Protesters took to the streets across the UK to show their disagreement with the government's actions to close parliament before the Brexit deadline on October 31.
You can watch the footage in the video player above.
The demonstrations in London and elsewhere contradict Prime Minister Boris Johnson's decision to move parliament - a move that increases Britain's chances of leaving the European Union without consent.
With just 61 days until October 31, before the deadline for the withdrawal of British forces, anti-Brexit politicians and campaigners are failing to prevent "fruitless" trade, which, according to business leaders, will undermine the British economy and may even lead to shortages of food or medicine,
civil disobedience.;
The main organizer of Saturday's protests is the Other Europe, an umbrella campaign linked to the opposition Labour Party, trade unions and affiliated groups.
Michael Chessum, its national organizer, is a supporter of Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn.
"We expect hundreds of thousands of people to take part in a massive wave of protest and civil disobedience against Boris Johnson's attempts to close parliament in order to fulfill his Brexit program," he said.
"We have seen huge crowds of people spontaneously appear all over the country. And so we really expect it to be pretty big.
"Now we are in a situation where an unelected prime minister is closing down the little democracy that we have in this country in order to implement a Brexit program that will destroy people's lives and communities, undermine their rights and freedoms, and you know, an attempt to create a post-Brexit Britain that is embedded in Trump's America.".
There are separate protests, including the protests that took place on Friday in front of the British Embassy in Brussels.
Preventing Brexit inaction by law
The House of Commons is still on summer break until Tuesday. Corbyn has already indicated that he will try to pass a law banning a no-deal Brexit, or take steps to block the postponement of parliament as soon as it resumes its work.
More and more rebel lawmakers in Johnson's own Conservative Party are discussing with Labour and anti-Brexit Liberal Democrats how to unite to pass a law forcing Johnson to demand an extension of Article 50 after October 31, The Times reported on Friday.
However, to do this, they will need to introduce legislation and pass it within three days - a serious problem, even if opponents and rebels can outweigh Johnson's government.
One possible option is to force the House of Commons and the House of Lords to sit on the weekend of September 7-8.
Among the conservative rebels is former Minister Oliver Letwin.
The lawsuit is in triplicate
Anti-Brexit campaigner Gina Miller has appealed to the High Court of England for a judicial review to block the extension of parliament. Her legal team won a resounding victory over the government in court in 2017, forcing it to hold a parliamentary vote on triggering Article 50.
Former Conservative Prime Minister John Major said on Friday that he would seek court permission to join the application.
"If I am given permission to intervene, I intend to try to help the court from the point of view that he has served in the government as a minister and prime minister, as well as in parliament for many years," he said.
The move raises the extraordinary prospect of Prime Minister Johnson being taken to the High Court by one of his predecessors.
Labour's deputy leader Tom Watson also supports the cause.
Separately, a court hearing in Scotland will be heard on Tuesday on a parallel application to block the extension.
Judge Raymond Doherty refused to grant the request immediately on Friday, but agreed that a "substantial" hearing would be held in the Session Court.
The third case is being initiated in Belfast.
Johnson: blocking Brexit will harm Britain
Johnson warned of "lasting and catastrophic damage" to British political parties if the result of the Brexit referendum is not respected.
He said that people protesting against his decision to suspend parliament should understand that "the worst thing for democracy" is the inability to make Brexit a reality.
He also says that protests and legal challenges to his policies are preventing Britain from entering into new agreements with European Union leaders because they may believe that parliament can stop Brexit.
British Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab told his EU counterparts in Finland on Friday that "the idea that this is some kind of constitutional outrage is meaningless. It's actually legal. This is absolutely correct. There is a precedent for this."
Other EU foreign ministers have expressed concern that a potentially dangerous and very costly UK exit from the bloc without an agreement now seems more likely.
The majority refused to comment on the government's actions, but Luxembourg's Foreign Minister Jean Asselborn said that suspending the parliament's work "is a way of advancing in a democracy that does not quite comply with the rules".
Crack formation
Meanwhile, the first cracks appear in Johnson's office - even before his first meeting after the summer.
Chancellor Sajid Javid has reportedly challenged Johnson over the firing of Johnson's assistant chief adviser, Dominic Cummings.
On Saturday, the Financial Times newspaper said Javid was "furious" about the dismissal. "He is absolutely furious," Javid's colleague is quoted as saying by the newspaper.

« The boy's hard tip as he enters her is such a turn on.He tries to be gentle but I don't think she is ready for him. His long shaft sliding in and our is also very exciting. He is quite turned on and ready to ejaculate early on. This gets her going. Just as things are getting hot we are cut off because it is a teaser for a paid video. But that's okay -- there's enough here to bring me to orgasm.»
